First, it’s worth mentioning that controller preferences should be determined by what feels comfortable to the players. Additionally, products like Scuf Gaming controllers will modify that as well. The console also plays a small part in it.
For example, most PlayStation 4 players will end up using Flipped because of the ergonomic benefits of using the L1 and R1 buttons to aim and shoot. Xbox One players won’t do that because of how natural it feels to use LT and RT.
Most players will also opt for the Tactical stick layout changing the crouch button from circle or B to clicking in the right thumbstick. Tactical lets players drop shot more efficiently without taking their thumbs off of the stick.
Tactical Flipped is arguably the most commonly used layout for PS4 players, but again let your play figure out what works best for you. Don’t expect to switch button or stick layouts and instantly become a better Warzone player.
