The Fortnite 2.74 update brought a fix for crashes caused by a bug with the emote wheel to non-PC live servers Friday.
The surprise update came in at 1.57GB on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Mac. Epic Games did not release full patch notes, but confirmed the emote wheel fix was included alongside several other Fortnite bug fixes.
This issue will be fixed on Nintendo Switch in a future update.

Epic Games first acknowledged player reports that using the emote wheel was causing games to crash Wednesday. It released a fix for PC servers later that same day. Despite a tweet Friday claiming all affected platforms had received a fix, Epic Games followed up saying Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch remains without a fix. The developer says a fix will arrive in a future update.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 hit live servers Wednesday, the same day reports of the emote wheel crash began appearing, indicating the update caused the bug.
