A Warzone self-revive trick allows players to survive the gas in the late game. While playing a late-game scenario, Reddit user Unknow_Gamer found a great way to use the self-revive.
Everyone knows the gas will do damage if you stand in it, and if you get pinched by an enemy team camping the zone, it can mean certain death. While facing the last team, the player jumped down, but was downed in the gas. But instead of slowly dying, our playing kept popping his self-revive, which slows down the death process.
The enemy player or squad, couldn’t find an enemy to shoot, and as the gas closed around them they started to die. And ironically enough, being knocked with a self revive, keeps you alive longer than a player standing up. It does seem, however, the enemy player didn’t have a gas mask which probably explains how he died so fast.
It’s hard to tell if this is intentional or a bug/feature that Infinity Ward wanted in the game.
